Schwarzbein for 1 month.
Gluten free for about one month.
High and low swings from the Schwarzbein healing process were tough. My body was doing some seriously hard work. Joint pains continued to be somewhat subdued. (At the time of this picture, I had just started eating gluten again and you can see the puffiness returning to my face).
Official diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis was made after urging my doctor to test me for thyroid antibodies, which came back in the thousands (normal ranges are less than 20-35). No medication was prescribed, but a referral to an endocrinologist was made.
