(My family and I are dressed for a superhero birthday party as the Incredibles.) I remember how hard it was thrifting to find the right shirt for this costume that would hide my ever growing gut. I had a size 12 swimsuit that I had worn while losing baby weight after my son was born and I used those as the bottoms/skirt of this costume. I remember how surprised I was when I put on the swim bottoms/skirt for this costume and discovered it was quite snug. I had already lost all my "baby fat" and was quite puzzled as to why I was gaining weight.
